- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆No matter how nice their properties look they are called slum lords for a reason. If you have a family or plan on starting one, please do not live in one of their properties. I was a tenant under them for a year and the property got to the point where it was no longer livable due to their inattention and refusal to do anything. When confronted, the property manager, from Ellison realty, simply threatened, and provoked, when I was simply concerned about my child's health. Even without that, it took them an entire month and a letter threatening to withhold the rent for anything to be done, while my family was getting sick from the conditions. And he still acted as though he was not the one responsible. This company is not to be confused with the Ellison Realty that is on Fort king street.
