They treat animals like dirt and are inhuman people. They will swoop in and take your animals when someone makes false claims. EVEN WHEN THERE IS PROOF ITS FALSE FROM SECURITY CAMERAS. Would not ever get an animal from here or recommend it as they feed them the worst food ever and barley clean. Lazy and disgusting is what they are. And when they take your animal they refuse to return the remains as they’d rather just throw them at the top of the dump next door.

NASTY PLACE This shelter gets more awful every time I go, and I do plan on no longer going. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I feel like they judge you as soon as you walk through the doors. My daughter and I went and waited 15 minutes along with about ten other people to look at dogs. We were brought back to go see them by one lady who already came off rude by the way she talked us all, like she was above us. She told us not to stick our fingers in the cages or pet the dogs because it could spread their sicknesses. My question is why do they have sick dogs out in the heat with all the other dogs around instead of being treated in quarantine and getting better? Everyone who went back and looked at the dogs had stuck their fingers in the kennel at least once to give the dogs attention, which they obviously get none from the staff. My daughter, who is 5, did it, along with all the other kids there sticking their hands and arms in the cages as well, and I saw her do it and told her not to. The lady saw as well and came up to my daughter and said "Don't do that!", loudly and rudely making my daughter want to leave. There was a dog I wanted to take out to meet and possibly adopt so I opted to stay until we saw the dog I wanted to see. I found the dog I saw off the website and my daughter got excited and did the same thing again. I'm assuming the lady was watching us because at least 2 seconds after she came up to us told us we "needed to leave right now". Long story short we ended up not adopting a dog because my daughter got excited she was possibly getting a new family member and touched the dog through the cage. I have had many negative experiences here and I can honestly say I strongly dislike this place.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received trying to adopt kittens here. My boyfriend and I were unable to do so due to the fact that there were animals already listed under a same addressed who had passed 7+ years ago that apparently were never reported to them. did not realize it was a requirement to inform animal services every time an animal passes. I understand to an extent the precautions needed to take to find a home for animals but the requirements are a bit excessvie. Just two people that wanted to give two kitties a wonderful home but were denied of that because the employees there did not believe we had previous animals pass away.
