  I wish I could leave a "Zero Star" review. The IRS building in Ocala is by appointment only. Calling their phone number does nothing. Also, taxation is theft.

  Good luck ever getting to actually speak with anyone who can help you. All they do is make you go through an automated system and wait on hold forever. Even then they can't actually tell you what happened to your tax return, for which you have a tracking number and delivery confirmation... And pray that you don't get disconnected! Like all things government, it just doesn't work well because there's no incentive.

  You really don't need an appointment just ask the security guard if you can wait or what time you should return

  They only take appointments but nothing online says that. I just need clarification of papers i recieved. And although i seen like 15 to 20 employees walk in and i was 1 of 3 ppl waiting outside to talk to them, i was still turned away since i didnt have an appointment. Its bs that i drove an hr to this office just to be turned away

  It's the irs so not withstanding that they are pretty nice and helpful here. The irs as a whole deserves 1 star but these guys do their best and make the worst as easy as possible.
